Ömer Matlı Our founder, Ömer MATLI was born in 10.06.1933 in Karacabey. Ömer Matlı was a pioneer investor of young Turkish Republic; and started his business life with animal trade and within few years he started to dairy business. At the beginning of 1970s business success of Ömer Matlı became an example for the people of region and he played an important role in the development of Karacabey. He achieved to market the most important product of the region onion to all over Turkey with his practical intelligence. Within few years the name of Ömer Matlı took place in the list of exporters. Commercial identity of Ömer Matlı turned to be industrialist after 1980. Ömer Matlı became a good example of investor sprit of the region with rice factory in the economic stability periods. His success in commercial life quickly appeared also in industry. His rice factory in short time started to work in three shifts and became the biggest facility of the region. I Ömer MATLI; always put his excitement of success, his philanthropic personality and social society consciousness to his works. These characteristics made him one of prevailing feed industrialis in a short time. In 1992 he established the first modern corn drying facility of the region. Ömer Matlı emphasized with this investment resulting in development of region and development of national agriculture that agriculture and cattle breeding can not be separated. Ömer Matlı finished his final facility “ÖMER MATLI PRIMARY SCHOOL” in 1994 for which he said “it is the most meaningfull deed of me.” He has been living in the hearths of his lovers since 10 December 1995. |
