Matlı Feed Chick Breeding and Egg Production Facilities

When completed it will be one of the biggest egg production facility of Turkey. Burdan Egg production facilities will work fully integrated and eggs will be packed without hand touch. The project will be completed at two stages. In the first stage, 2 chick breeding facilities, 4 egg chicken henhouse and 1 egg collection facilities started to operation in 2010 with total 500.000 chicken and daily 450.000 egg capacity.

Within 2011 4 egg chicken and 2 chick henhouses and egg collection integrated building will start serving and within 2012 the project will be completed with 4 chicken henhouses. The facilities will have capacity of 1.770.000 chicken/term in 12 chicken henhouses and daily average 1.450.000 egg production, 620.000 chicks/term in 4 chick henhouses.

Chick Breeding Henhouses

Chick breeding facilities in Çayırlar area of Canbaz village of Karacabey will have 9000 m2 indoor area of total 39.149 m2 when completed. Facilities will be formed of 4 henhouses will be completed in 2011 and will have a capacity of 620.000 chick breeding/term. Since 2010, two henhouses with each having capacity of 135.000 chick breeding and 4 stories, 6 lines, 128 m structure have been in operation. These henhouses have completely indoor full automated system, they are computer controlled and feed, water of chicks, temperature, air are all computer controlled. In all henhouses we use latest technology and automation systems. Henhouses are under control 24 hours from 0 days to 16 weeks age and to protect health of animals high level bio-security measurements are taken, necessary vaccines are applied for egg and human health and than products are carried to production facilities.

Egg Proudction Facilities

Matlı- Burdan egg production facilities in Çayırlar area of Canbaz village of Karacabey will be established on 32.250 m2 indoor area of total 226.000 m2 and with 50 million TL investment it will be one of the biggest facility of this sector. When finished completely, there will be 12 chicken henhouses, 1 egg collection center of 6000 m2, 1 social and administration facilities. The first stage investments finished together with activity of 4 henhouses of 8 stories, 6 lines and 98 m with capacity of 125.000 henhouses now have 500.000 chicken capacity and daily 450.000 egg production capacity. Egg collection center of the first stage investment is one of the rare facility of Turkey where 120.000 eggs separated and cleaned one by one with a 0.1 gr sensivity and packed without hand touch. Also BURDAN egg production facilities having the proud of being the first egg production facility of Turkey to be granted BRC and ISO 22000-2005 quality certificates together with its food safety and production quality from production to packing without hand touch. Like in chick breeding henhouses, these facilities also are completely indoor, environmentally controlled and fully automated and life conditions of egg chickens in these facilities is 24 hours controlled. When all investments finished, daily 1.500.000 egg production is targeted.
