Ömer Matlı Primary School PDF Print E-mail

matli_ilkogretimPresent school building was built by charitable late ÖMER MATLI in 1993. Building was finished in 1993. Because of the need for higher education building in that tim in town, the building was delivered to ULUDAĞ University for three years (as Karacabey Higher Education Faculty) according to petition of Bursa City National Education Directorate dated 15-12-1994 and numbered 49115 with decision of Primary Education General Directorate dated 10 March 1995 and numbered 2103.


Following the 1999-2000 semester building was delivered to National Education and opened with the name of Ömer Matlı Primary School. Regular teachers in the opening were: Ayten FİDAN,Cemalettin ÖZÇELİK,Emin Zafer BİRCAN,Müdür Yardımcısı Erol PARİK ,Hasan ARGIN and Şakir EKİL and principal was Mustafa Kemal YAZAR.
The school gave normal education for two years and in 2001-2002 semester passed to double education. The school was fixed in 2001 summer and completed by city national education directorate.


Sons of charitable ÖMER MATLI, Özer and Önder Matlı brothers wanted to make additional building without limiting the garden of present building in the context of 100% support to education and necessary documents have been delivered to them by Hasan Turhan, Director of national education on 25 November 2004. Foundation ceremony of the additional building was made on 13 December 2004, Monday. Protocol was made for 8 classes on 15 July 2004 but on 24 February 2005 project was amended to 16 classes. This building was completed 2005 September and started to education as one building. Now school serves with 29 classes and 33 staff.
